Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day and the Easter Bunny was good to you ! We are having such great weather and I hope it stays. I think spring has sprung and summer is around the corner. The trees are all in bud and the flowers are poping up in the garden. What a wonderful day!

My Yorkie from EBearz University Class

I wanted to show you the Yorkie I make taking Nancy's class. The one picture I tried to take with Luck sitting beside it but he did not fully cooperate with me......Lucky that is. LOL

This Yorkie I made is called Andy after the one that passed away.

The yorkie is a non jointed dog with wire amature in side. This is the first non jointed one I have made.

Wow it's been awhile sine I posted any thing here. I had been surfing the net and went to EbearZ to check out on the courses and found that Nancy has a free video tutorial on Scissor and Razor Sculpting the face of a teddy bear. I thought some of you might be interested in it. She has different online courses that you might like to take. So go and take a peek to see what is all there. She also has a free bear pattern as well.
I have take several of the courses there and found them to be very good. Right now I am doing one on making a Yorkie as we have five and one is a tea-cup puppy. The great thing with taking online courses is you can do it any time of the day or night and even in your PJ's. Lol I think it is nice to be able to have the online courses because they are all over the world and if you don't live where they are offered ...... well you can't attend. One of the wonderful things about computers and the Internet. Now here is a picture of Luckymy little boy!

Mink Bear Angel found a home!

Years ago when I started out making bears I use to make bears from others real fur coats. I did that for a few years. The shop that was in town at the time carried mohair. At first I was a bit hesitant to use it as it was a bit expensive and did not want to cut into the fabric in case I made a mistake. Well That did not last long and I was making mohair bears. It had been sometime now since I made a bear from real fur and gave it a try .... Of course when I started making real fur bears I knew nothing on working with real fur so I bought the book Teddy Bears With a Past by Nancy Tillberg. It had all the information in it I needed to get started in making real fur bears. I am glad I had the book for reference. You should check it out if you are wanting to make real fur bears. It is a very good book. I am going to continue to offer real fur bears a long with mohair bears. Here is a picture of Angel. I hope you like her.

Angel has gone to Alberta Canada to live with her new mom Who happens to be a dear friend. She seen Angel on my web site and email me to say she wanted her.

Live web cam on Black Bear Lily!

I don't know if any of you have been watching Lily a Black Bear who they have on live web cam getting ready to give birth. I just checked in this morning and still no babies yet. This is so amazing. Click here; Lily
Don't miss out on this wonderful experience. It's not every day you get to see a wild bear give birth. The babies look so cute when they are little but I would not want to mess with them as they get bigger, if you know what I mean!
