Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas every one. I don't know about where you live but here in Ontario Canada we have no snow. Looks like we are going to have a green christmas this year! Going to have to go out and make some snow for christmas day!

Teddy Talk sponsored by Intercal we have been doing a christmas ornament swap since 2006. Those that want to take part has their name but in a hat and Mel this year organized it drew names to who we had to make an ornament for. Here is a picture of the one I sent to Tracey in New Zealand.

Tammy from Beckoning bears has been decorating the tree every year with the pictures of the ornaments that were made. Here are the pictures of the two trees for this year. Not all ornaments have been received yet.

I have bee doing this for the last four years. It has been alot of fun. It is great to see what ideas that eveyone comes up with to make an ornament. They come from all over the world.

Lamb chop

Do you remember Shari Lewis who was an American ventriloquist, puppeteer, was a host to a children's television show, most popular during the 1960s and 1990s. She passed away Aug 2, 1998 from cancer. Well my mom has been knitting a puppet lamb chops from a pattern she has had for years. I use to knit them at one time to. The orginal pattern did not have a legs ,so I made up the leg and foot pattern to add to the pattern that she already has and here is Lamb Chops!.

From some thing old to some thing new

I have recently been trying some thing new.... Pin Cushions! For some unknown reason I started looking at different things and pin cushions came to mind. These are a few I made. Do you ever look at some thing and think of another use for that item? They were so much fun to make.
